Note a change coming next year in the use of flexible spending accounts:

Starting January 1, the health care reform law bans using money in tax free FSAs to pay for medications bought over the counter unless prescribed by a physician. The Internal Revenue Service says that will include any remaining funds from 2010 carried over into the new year. Among common medications that will be affected are pain, cold and allergy remedies and antacids. The change will not apply to insulin, eyeglasses, contact lenses, medical devices or copays and deductibles.
